I like pizza. I think pizza, which has one hell of a history, is one of the greatest foods in terms of versatility and convenience. It comes in so many different varieties that you can always try a new one, and if you stay away from the national chains (which I highly recommend) every pizza is different. Here are some different varieties:
New York Style Pizza
Chicago Style Pizza
Greek Pizza
Hawaiian Pizza
St. Louis Style
California Style
Taco Pizza
Grilled Pizza
The list goes on. The point is that pizza never gets boring because you can try a different pizza wherever you happen to be.
Pizza is also territorial. Everywhere I visit has it’s own “Best Pizza” that everyone seems to swear by. Trisha and I are both big fans of pizza and we make it a point to try something different whenever we travel. It is rarely bad and sometimes it’s fantastic.
So my question is, what is your favorite pizza and pizza place?
I was in Sedona, AZ the other day calling on customers. Sedona is a beautiful part of the world and the fact I have customers/clients there is a minor blessing. If you've been there you know what I'm talking about...natural beauty, with the added benefit of being a metaphysical energy vortex, if you believe in that sort of thing.
Anyway, across the street from the hotel I was staying in was a store...Liquor Store and Archery. It struck me as a weird combination..."Hey let's go get some Tequila, a bow and some arrows! Now that will be fun!!!" Reminds me of one of April's dating ideas and some bad experiences mixing alcohol and guns when I was a kid.
So the next day I'm over at the Hyatt having breakfast with a panoramic view and who should walk in but the liquor store guy carrrying several cases of beer into the restaurant. Apparently they are Liquor Store, Archery and Restaurant Supply! Being the chatty Kathy I usually am I have to mention to the guy how weird I think the combination is. What do you think his response is?
"They work well together because they both involve trying to get a good shot." Yeah, he's been asked that before.

Gas prices are high and probably going higher. Here is Southern California today the most common price is $4.39/gallon.
Ever since gas has gone above $4.00 traffic has noticably decreased. Since I travel extensively throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties this has been a Godsend. I would gladly pay $6.00/gallon if it would get people off the road.
Of course I get my gas reimbursed.
Have a great day!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I know for most of us it was spent building up our internet presence by writing and commenting on blogs and adding content to our websites. I know it was time well spent for me and I hope for you as well.
Now it is Tuesday, which is this week's Monday. Most of us are back at our regular jobs. So how was work today? Did you dive right into it or was everyone slow to get back into the swing of things?
I am traveling to Las Vegas for a couple days practicing what I like to call a "Surgical Strike". That is when I fly in for a short period of time, cram in a bunch of calls and fly out. So far it has been very successful. Tomorrow is fully planned out and should be productive as well. Tomorrow it's off to Los Angeles.
For a change of pace I rented a Toyota Prius. Most of you who know me know that outwardly I am not a Prius guy. I am more of a truck person. In fact, my answer to high fuel prices is to buy a diesel powered F-250 and convert it to run on vegetable oil. The conversion kit runs about $2000 (if your curious about getting your own vegetable oil fueled car you can learn more here)and for a talented salesman like me the fuel is basically free. With every uptick in the cost of diesel used F-250's become more and more affordable. I'll probably pick mine up in the Fall when diesel is up around $6.00/Gal..
Anyway, back to the Prius. It is really a nice car with some great pick-up and speed. It's weird to think I'll probably use less than a gallon of fuel while I'm in town. That is unheard of. Humm, maybe for a second car...
Title sounds like an elementary school class assignment doesn't it?
I'm going to do a little exercise here. We've been by told by Kevin that, to achieve maximum SEO optimization, it is best to avoid too many links on each of these posts. Since I'm a polarity responder, I thought I'd add a post with everyone's link in it. I figure I can practice my creative writing and be a smart ass at the same time.
So how did I spend my weekend? First off, I had a lot of goals to achieve. My number one goal was to work on adding content to my websites, www.stevechambers.com and www.easyseductionpro.com. (Don't tell anyone about the seduction site. It's a secret.)
I followed Sue Crutcher's advice on both days by stretching and going out for long walks. On Saturday I developed my first real affiliate site, www.persuasionmethods.com, and took a page out of Relationship Coach April Braswell's playbook by hitting the town and meeting people. Yep April, Trisha and I hit four different bars, tried our first Manhattan cocktail (it IS made with Bourbon, I always thought it was Scotch!) and ended up belting out tunes from the 80's and 90's with a group of people we met at our last stop.
I hit the local farmer's market to pick up some fresh fruit and vegetables, taking Matt Shield's advice to lower my carbon footprint and Sue's advice to add more fruits and vegetables to my diet. I walked there, which was in keeping with Sabrina Peterson's advice to add more exercise into my life.
I also planned my vacation for this summer. Coincidentally, I will be going to Cabo San Lucas, the same place Dr. Peter Helton is right now, although I won't be staying at the super premium luxury Palmilla Resort. I will have to content myself with the Pueblo Bonito at Sunset Beach.
Just like Scott Bell, Road Warrior, I will be traveling this week. For me it is Vegas, then Palm Springs on the return. I'll be driving, which will give me the opportunity to listen to Kevin Hogan's new Science of Influence CD set! I will be taking a very small wardrobe and, having just paid up my insurance I should be good to go.
Next week I'll be visiting Phoenix, lair of Tim Birch, where I'll be able to enjoy 100 degree temperatures and try to jump start my marketing efforts a la recession proof marketing. Luckily, my kids are older so I won't need to find a reliable and trustworthy babysitter. I will also get the chance to check out the Phoenix housing market, which has been severely affected by the collapse of the housing bubble. According to John Wadsworth, things are going to get worse before they get better and I do want to see where prices are at now.
When it's all over I'll need to see a chiropractor. Maybe Judy Monroe at Chiropractic Marketing can give me some advice. In any event, I'll have to practice my negotiating skills.
Ok, I reaching here. I apologize to Aaron, Yann and Paul as I couldn't find a way to get their links into this post. Oh wait, I just did!
Great travel day yesterday, which made it easier to practice my day of non-judgement. Skip the long line at the counter by using skycap, no line at security and plenty of time built into my schedule made it a pleasant trip.
The hotel is very convenient to the airport here in Philadelphia. April will be glad to know that the bar is cozy and was surprisingly packed for midnight on a Wednesday. Mostly men so she can practice her dating maven skills and leverage the law of large numbers.
Off to Maryland today.
I have declared today as a personal day of non-judgment. Hey Tim Birch, remember T. Robbins 7-day positive thinking diet?
Today I am traveling cross country. As Yann and Scott will attest this can be stressful, daunting and no fun. This is why I am going to use it to practice non-judgment. If you can get around the idiocy of the TSA, (okay, my non-judgment starts NOW) without judgmental thoughts you have accomplished something.
Yes April, I will talk to people and meet new ones. No dates however as everyday is a date when you are in an outstanding relationship, as I am. My girlfriend will be traveling with me as we are going early to visit friends and see sites. I like to take advantage of any cross continental trips to accomplish more..I'm a chronic multi-tasker.
I will be shooting video for youtube and my website, so I am pretty excited.
