UPS, FedEx Virus going around

As Matt Shields can attest, computer viruses can be nasty. Here is one you might see in the near future...

Snopes says this virus is real.

You receive notification that a UPS or FedEx package had the wrong address. You are asked to print out an invoice. Don't. Blip the message without opening it.

This virus has been around since mid-July, but it is likely to be sent out, big time, at Christmas.

Forewarned is forearmed.

The one that got me made it's self look like my antivris program. A window pops up saying that you have been infected. At first I just closed it out because if looked kind of strange, but it started to pop up almost once a minute, I thought maybe I really do have a virus. I clicked on it to open it and my computer bogged way down. That was about a month ago, I called microsoft (I think) they had me run a program that would check the system then gave me a program to sweep the computer clean of the virus. The program cost 50.00 and worked for about a month. Then when the virus came back, it would jam up the computer and make all of the icons disapper. i called a friend who is into computers who came over and saif they have never seen anything like it. He even tried to run the virus sweep in safe mode (I guess it works better when you do it there) this virus kept restarting the computer before we could run the program in safe mode. I guess it is very rare that a virus can run in safe mode so basically I had to start over

Incidentally, what is the best way to see if your computer is infected with something?...I have McAffee, but I wonder if that really does the trick.
