It Friday! What are you doing?
It's Friday, traditionally the last day of the work week. All over America people are coming home from work and looking forward to a couple days off. So how are you going to spend your weekend?
Are you going to spend it frivolously, watching sports on TV? Are you an active person, perhaps planning to go hiking, bicycling or water skiing?
Maybe your taking April's advice and going out on a date! If you are I hope you have a good time.
Or are you going to use this time to achieve your dreams, to forge a life different than the one you are living now?
My weekend will be spent primarily on the Internet, trying to build a business and web presence. It is not the favorite way I can think of spending the weekend (and truth be told, I will go to the beach for a few hours), but long term it is the best use of my time, in my opinion.
So how will you be spending yours?

Since I somehow (mistakenly, I realize now) signed up for two Kevin Hogan courses simultaneously and had to take a day off this week to help my sister -- I will be on the internet. Pray it is working! My plan is to update my web some more, get back to Technorati, check everyone's sites from there. Luckily for me (not too many other people) it's supposed to rain so I should be able to get a lot done. I also plan to visit with Grandma who is here for the weekend; visit with the 10 guests at my rental who are arriving sometime tonight; do some transplants in the greenhouse; start some sprouts; get a little bread and cookie baking done; call my daughter to see how her first day at her job went; take the dog out for a walk; get in a workout or two and whatever else I can fit in the time allotted. NOT do laundry, clean my desk or watch the idiot box. Well ... maybe I should clean my desk -- I'm starting to have trouble finding things again.
I start the weekend now by going to sleep.

AND watching TV - 2 Stanley Cup games. of course, I work on my voxing at the same time as I watch Stanley Cup games.
So if you hear screams of "He shoots, he SCORES!" in my blog comments, well, you'll understand I was watching a game at the same time.
And reading and providing feedback on the Ebook of a bud from Kevin's IC.

This weekend I have a school obligation (marching in a parade downtown) Saturday morning. Then, since this is the first free weekend after Peter Pan closed I'm cleaning and organizing and doing some archaeological digs around my desk. And, of course blogging. :-)
